This year marks the centenary of International Women’s Day.  A special insert featured in "The Chronicle

Lighthouse welcomes the interest of mentors who are willing to share their business experiences and knowledge with Brilliant Idea participants.  Monthly peer group support sessions are held the last Tuesday of the month at Lighthouse, providing women entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn from each other in an informal and interactive environment.

One of the year’s highlights for Lighthouse Business Innovation Centre was being selected to deliver the ACT Microcredit Program for women on low incomes. The Brilliant Idea program of mentorship and peer support was developed to compliment the financial support of the ACT Government for business ideas and development through no-interest loans up to $3000.
